CPCL Announces Q4 & FY 07 Results

Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd (CPCL) has announced the following Audited results for the quarter & year ended March 31, 2007:The results for the Quarter ended March 31, 2007 The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 1890.90 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 292.60 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006. Total Income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 55261.90 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 57589.90 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007.The results for the Year ended March 31, 2007 The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 5652.70 million for the year ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 4809.60 million for the year ended March 31, 2006. Total Income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 211692.50 million for the year ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 247587.80 million for the year ended March 31, 2007.
