CPCL Announces Q1 Results

Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd (CPCL) has announced the following unaudited results for the quarter ended June 30, 2007:The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 3231.50 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 as compared to Rs 2545.80 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006. Total Income (net of excise) has decreased from Rs 64710.10 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 to Rs 62299.70 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007.
