Lanco Infratech Announces Q1 Results

Lanco Infratech Ltd has announced the following Unaudited Results for the quarter ended June 30, 2007:

The Company has posted a profit after taxation of Rs 169.91 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 where as the same was at Rs 183.78 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006. Total Income is Rs 1568.50 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 where as the same was at Rs 1016.99 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006.

The Consolidated Results are as follows:

The Group has posted a profit after tax, minority & share of profits of associates of Rs 512.88 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 where as the same was at Rs 42.63 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006. Total Income is Rs 6032.79 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 where as the same was at Rs 2546.64 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006.

During the year ended March 31, 2007 the Company had consolidated certain group entities engaged in the business of Power, Construction and Property Development under its management. Consequently, these Companies have become its subsidiaries / associates. Hence, the consolidated results for the current period are not fully comparable with those of the corresponding period of the previous year.
