Merck Announces Q2 Results

Merck Ltd has announced the following Un-Audited Results for the quarter ended June 30, 2007.The Company has posted a Net Profit of Rs 163.146 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 where as the same was at Rs 842.364 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006. Total Income (Net of Excise) is Rs 911.906 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 where as the same was at Rs 870.127 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006.The figures for the previous year / quarter are not comparable, due to sale of Life Science & Analytics (excluding Bulk Drugs) business w.e.f. April 01, 2006.
