Indian Hume - Limited Review For The Quarter Ended Sep 30, 2007

Indian Hume Pipe Company Ltd has informed that in the limited review report of the Company for the quarter ended September 30, 2007, the Auditors of the Company have made the following observations

:Attention is invited to note no. 3 of the accompanying unaudited financial results relating to change in policy of recognizing revenue on contracts wherein with effect from April 01, 2007 the Company has changed its policy of recognizing revenue from contracts on completion of 10% of the project order value from the earlier basis of 20% of the project order value. As a result of this the profit after tax for the quarter is higher by Rs 1.32 crores and for the six months ended is higher by Rs. 1.12 crores.
