Siemens Ltd has announced the following Unaudited results for the quarter ended March 31, 2008:
The Company has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 16.56 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2008 where as the same was at Rs 1080.53 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007. Total Income is Rs 21560.81 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2008 where as the same was at Rs 21408.98 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007.
The figures for the six months ended March 31, 2008 include the figures for the information and Communication, Automotive and Building Technologies segments which have been subsequently sold. Consequently the figures for the six months ended March 31, 2008 are not strictly comparable with the figures of the six months ended March 31, 2007.
